The Organic Co-operative Company - Jordan (OCCJO)
The Organic Co-operative Company - Jordan (OCCJO) — a Jordanian co-operative of organic date growers — was founded by a small group of farmers in 1973 to bring together the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan’s leading organic producers of premium quality Medjool dates.

The OCCJO is an ever-growing community that currently comprises 7 large, medium and small-sized farms employing over 200 workers and supporting over 300 local families in Jordan.
OCCJO farms can be found across Jordan: stretching along the banks of the Jordan River and the Dead Sea; nestled throughout the Jordan Valley; as well as areas surrounding Jerash, Madaba and Mount Nebo.

OCCJO brings together the produce and capabilities of Jordan’s – and some of the world’s - leading organic date growers. Counted among them are Al-Khairat Farms and Khattab Farms, two of Jordan’s major suppliers of organic dates to international markets.
